The resin mold process

I recently became obsessed with learning the process of making a rubber mold and making a resin cast from it. below is a gallery of the process.

First make a sculpture of what you want to cast.
Then make a rubber mold of the sculpture
Once gold leafed, I poured a layer of clear resin over top. Once dry I added a gold chain
Once I had the sculpture I could gold leaf it.
